| My buddy works at a pretty well respected shop in Northern California called Motorsport Dynamics so he gets to work on a little bit of everything. He used to own a 3000GT VR4 which he rebuilt the motor on twice, also now owns an R32 Skyline GTS-T, and even his Skyline is easier to work on than the Z. He helped me replace my plenum and at the end said if he bought a Z he'd swap motors to ANYTHING else in a heartbeat because of what a pain in the ass working on it is. But I look at it in the sense that now any other car that I own will be cake to work on in comparison. And yes, I shy away from adding up all the money I put into my Z. About 2 years ago it was roughly $30k +, after that it made me too sad so I just don't keep track anymore.
